L&L Products, China, to present at SAMPE China Conference
Shanghai, China, May 04, 2017 – L&L Products of China announced that Francis Meyer and Hunter Bu, aircraft interiors materials experts, will present during the Composite Material for Aero session at the 12th Annual SAMPE China Conference on May 10th, at the China international Exhibition Center in Beijing, China.
L&L Products of China has partnered with Fesher Aviation Components (Zhenjiang) Co. to focus on the global commercial aircraft market evolution and interior lining parts for commercial aircraft.
The project that the two companies focused for this featured presentation was a 15 minute “hot in, hot out” fast cure process material. It is to be used on an ARJ-21-700 lining panel to provide benefits such as:
- Fast cure
- FST compliance according to FAR 25.853 and ABD 0031
- Higher productivity with use of less post process machining
- Light weight and high mechanical strength suitable for core splice, edge close out, local reinforcement, radius enhancement, and insert bonding applications
- Compatible with a broad range of honeycomb cores, phenolic and epoxy prepregs which are popular in aircraft interior components such as lining panels, stowage bins, ceilings, walls, galleys, lavatories, and crew rest compartments
